Terms of Use
These terms cover the use of arvenstone.com. By reading the guide you accept them. If you do not accept them, please do not use the site.
What this site is
arvenstone.com is an editorial guide. It is not a travel agent, a tour operator, an intermediary or a booking service. It takes no reservations, holds no inventory, processes no payments and passes no enquiries to any hotel. Nothing on the site is an offer to sell anything.
How the entries should be read
Every absence described on this site is our editorial account of how a building was designed, written from published sources. It is not a list of faults, not a complaint, not a measurement of service quality and not a statement about the standard of any hotel. Where we describe what a building does without, we mean a design decision and nothing else.
Accuracy
Information is published without any warranty that it is current. Buildings change hands, change names and are rebuilt; seasonal hotels are made new each winter. The month printed at the foot of an entry is when its sources were last read. This site does not publish opening times, schedules or seasons, and readers should confirm all practical details with the hotel itself.
No advice
Nothing here is advice to buy, book, travel or spend. Decisions taken after reading this guide are the reader’s own.
External links
Where the site links away from itself, the linked pages are outside our control and outside these terms. We do not endorse them and we are not responsible for their content.
Copyright
The text, structure and code of this site belong to its publishers. Short quotation with a clear link is fine. Republishing entries in whole or in substantial part is not. Photographs remain with whoever holds their rights.
Corrections
Factual errors are corrected as soon as we can confirm them. Any hotel described here may send a correction about its own building, and we will read it, check it and amend the entry where it is right. Corrections are never charged for and never bought.
Liability
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for loss arising from the use of this site or from reliance on anything published here.
Changes
These terms may be amended. The version on this page is the one that applies.

Casino hotels
The Casino Hotels section describes four Canadian resorts as buildings on difficult sites. It does not describe, promote, rate or explain gambling, and it carries no links to gaming sites or applications. Casinos are for adults only. In Canada the minimum age is 19 in most provinces and 18 in Québec; elsewhere it depends on where you are.
If gambling stops being a game: in Ontario, ConnexOntario 1-866-531-2600; in Québec, 1-800-461-0140; in British Columbia, 1-888-795-6111. Outside Canada, look up the helpline for your own country.
